But let’s talk about the basics: The Grammy Award ceremony is the most decorated music event, which was first held on May 4, 1959, to honor and respect the musical accomplishments by performers for the year 1958. This year, due to covid restrictions, it hadn’t happened on the due date. It was rescheduled for the 14th of March, and finally, after a long wait, everybody witnessed the amazing show last evening.

Trevor Noah’s Opening Monologue
Daily Show’s charming ‘Trevor Noah’ was the host of the event. He kicked off the 63rd Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday, with plenty of witty comments on politics, music, nominees present at the event and also on the Coronavirus. The guy made everyone giggle till the end, truly talented!
It was his first as host to the Grammy’s and he did exceptionally well exactly like the previous Grammy hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Ellen DeGeneres, Billy Crystal, and many others.
Stellar Performance at Grammy Award 2021
The show was remarkable, fans had witnessed the major mesmerizing moments from Harry Styles performance to BTS heart-winning performance at Seoul skyscraper, and the list goes on as American songwriter and vocalist Taylor Swift also gave an on-stage performance for the First time with Antonoff, Aaron Dessner, which set a fire at Grammys 2021.
There were other musicians too, who performed last eve, that include Dua Lipa, Roddy Rich, Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, and DaBaby, Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Doja Cat, and others, these people had contributed a lot and made 63rd Grammy Awards worth watching.

Harry Styles Performance
This English singer had turned out the stage into the fire when he opened up the Grammys grand act with his track ‘Watermelon Sugar’. Fans went crazy by his appearance as he chose to wear a leather jacket from Gucci, without a shirt underneath, and black shoes that made him look sizzling hot. While performing, he tossed his bow aside showing his bare body that had attracted lots of netizens attention.
BTS Performance was Enthralling
South Korean Pop band BTS hadn’t won any award, but its spectacular performance had stolen millions of hearts. ‘Dynamite’, BTS’ popular hit was the song, made every fall for them at the Grammy Awards 2021.
The K-Pop band had really put the charm and elegance at the event with their iconic performance and gorgeous appearance. Unfortunately, This boy band was nominated for the first time at the Grammy Awards, for the song Dynamite, in the best Pop duo/ group Performance Category. Unfortunately, they couldn’t win, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande bagged this award for their duet ‘Rain on me’.
Taylor Swift, Thee Stallion and Cardi B
On one side, Gentlemen were stealing the show and other sides, ladies had plans to rock the event. It was Taylor’s performance that had melt everyone’s heart with her medley, it was like a gift from heaven to listen to her.
She had picked a song from her chartbuster album ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evenmore’ and the collaborators from Folklore Jack Antonoff and Dessner had also joined her and strummed the chords along her side.
Later, there were Thee Stallion and Cardi B who had blazed the stage by performing on their hit ‘Wap’ and that was completely a different experience to watch.
Grammy Awards 2021
The 63rd edition of the Grammys was memorable for Beyonce, the female artist who has recorded her name to win most Grammy awards surpassing singer Alison Krauss(who hold most Grammy Trophies). The hasn’t ended yet – Billie Eilish won ‘The Record of the Year’ for ‘Everything I wanted’ and Taylor bagging the Album of the year – Folklore and Song of the year – I can’t Breathe, and there were many more winner.
The Grammy Award has always been the highlight to the Global Music and Artists and has never ceased to surprise everyone with their drama, performance, and awards ceremony.
