Emma Watson is sporting a bold new bob, suggesting she’s channeling a modern take on the Roaring Twenties. The 30-year-old Harry Potter star was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills on March 10 after a tailoring appointment. Emma looked cool, calm, and collected in a pair of black joggers, sandals, a light grey sweater, and a brand new hairstyle on the warm, sunny day!
With her natural coloring and subtle waves, the actress and activist fashioned a bobbed haircut. Emma looked great in her new ‘do, which appeared to have a slightly off-center part. Emma, of course, wore a black face mask while she was out, ensuring her own and others’ safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Emma’s new hairstyle is a departure from her previous appearance.
Emma had a longer cut before her haircut, with the ends of her hair gently brushing her shoulders and upper back. Emma hasn’t been seen out and about in a long time, according to fans. The last time the Little Women star was seen, she wore a ring on her left-hand ring finger, which sparked engagement rumors. Of course, there hasn’t been any word on whether Emma and her boyfriend, Leo Robinton, have any big plans for the future. Emma’s fans have been far more interested in learning whether or not she will continue her acting career!
After a rumor circulated at the end of February that Emma was planning her life trajectory and preceding any new film projects, fans speculated that she was officially retiring from acting. Thankfully, those rumors were quickly debunked. On February 25, Emma’s manager at Untitled Entertainment, Jason Weinberg, assured Entertainment Weekly, “Emma’s social media accounts are dormant, but her career isn’t.” Her career is definitely not over, thank goodness! In recent years, Emma’s career seemed to be starting a new phase. Emma has worked with renowned directors such as Oscar winner Sofia Coppola (2013’s The Bling Ring), been a Disney princess (2017’s Beauty & The Beast), and appeared in the Best Picture nominee (2019’s Little Women) since her Harry Potter days. Emma is, of course, preoccupied with her work and commitment to feminism and the fight against social injustice. We’re happy to see Emma happy, healthy, and looking great with a fun new ‘do, wherever her career takes her next!
Emma Watson Is Not The Only Harry Potter Star Who Regrets Her Hair Cut
Emma Watson is well-known for regretting Hermoine’s hair, referring to it as “ugly” in the film. The young witch’s appearance is described in the books as “bushy brown hair,” so what did she expect? And wouldn’t we all cringe at our hairstyles at that age? You live and learn, and you could tell he wasn’t having a good time here:
However, if you’re going to hate your haircut as an actor in a Harry Potter film, I’d say Goblet of Fire is the one. It shows the Hogwarts students coming into their own and dealing with some serious circumstances, setting the stage for the series’ darker chapters in the second half. But, in my opinion, Rupert Grint nailed it… Even with that hilarious ruffled Yule Ball suit.
Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in Harry Potter, welcomed his first child, Wednesday, late last year. So, if you ever needed a reality check, here it is: the Harry Potter kids are all grown up. One day, his daughter will have eight films starring her father to watch, but there’s one aspect of the franchise that Grint isn’t fond of revisiting, and Emma Watson shares his feelings.
The movie adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s best-selling series came up (obviously) when the 32-year-old actor was a guest on Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, and they got into witnessing the actor evolve up on the big screen from age 11 to his early twenties when he played Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies. Can you imagine your middle school years being portrayed on the big screen? Grint had the following to say: “There were some awkward moments. One of my biggest regrets in film four is my hair. Shoulder-length hair. Everyone, I believe, went through a phase of having extremely long hair. They liked it because it was a little magical. On camera, we went through puberty. You get a good look at everything. It’s quite revolting.”
Rupert Grint is referring to the 2005 film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, in which his character sported a much longer hairstyle, with Daniel Radcliffe also sporting a shoulder-length cut. As Grint explained on the podcast, the production thought it would fit in well with the Wizarding World’s atmosphere at the time, but he isn’t fond of it now.
Emma Watson’s performance in the Harry Potter movie series was outstanding, which is why many Hollywood actors had a crush on her. Tom Holland gushed over Emma Watson as Hermione Granger in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” in the latest release of “W” magazine, where he expressed his first film crush.
Tom Holland recalled his first film crush. — He told W magazine, “Emma Watson wears this pink dress in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” For me, that was incredible.” The Spider-Man star, 24, made a specific reference to a 15-year-old Emma Watson (now 30), who played Hermione Granger in the 2005 film, wearing a layered pink dress. Now she has a short bob haircut. Some fans would still love her, while some may criticize her, but it’s part of the game. She will continue doing wonders.
