BTS continued its momentum into 2021 on April 1, after one of its most fruitful years yet. ARMY, get your tissue boxes packed. BTS just released their first new emotional music of 2021, a bittersweet ballad called “Film Out” in Japanese, which is about someone’s memory.
Suga, Jungkook, Jimin, RM, V, J-Hope, and Jin released “Film Out,” the first single from BTS, The Best, their upcoming Japanese album. The moving ballad about memories takes you to another realm of emotions, a feeling that the music video captures perfectly with images that move between landscapes.
All of the imagery and symbols caused the ARMY to experience a range of emotions. Much as BTS did in the song and video. “THIS IS SUCH A SAD SITUATION. THE MUSIC VIDEO REPRESENTS THE MEANING. AS THE CAMERA FADED OUT, SEOKJIN WAS LEFT IN THE END. THE WAY THE SCENARIOS REACTED TO THE LYRICS. “Film out MV, In the same time sad, emotional, wet, healing,” one fan wrote on Twitter. The plot, lyrics, music, acting, set, and high tones are all fantastic in this song.”
According to Billboard, the song “Film Out” was co-written with Back Number. Signal The Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit, an upcoming Japanese film, will use it as the ending theme (which also premieres on April 2). The party’s track listing for BTS’s The Best was also announced. The two-disc set contains Japanese versions of “Fake Love,” “Black Swan,” “DNA,” “Boy With Luv” (a collaboration with Halsey), and “Dynamite,” their No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit in the United States.
BTS’ First Grammy Nomination
The band’s first completely recorded English song was “Dynamite,” which won them a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. It was their first No. 1 single hit in the United States, and it was the first time an all-South Korean act went to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. BTS released the song first as a standalone single. After this they added it in the group’s fifth Korean-language album, Be.
Anti-Asian Violence In United States
In the alarming situation of rising Anti-Asian violence in the United States, the group shared its experiences with racial discrimination before releasing this new album. Atlanta’s deadly attacks killed eight people on March 16, six of whom were Asian women. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Asian Americans in the United States have faced increased abuse and prejudice threats. BTS released a statement saying, “We give our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones.” “We experience sorrow and anger. We remember instances in which we, as Asians, faced prejudice. We’ve had expletives hurled at us without cause, and we’ve been ridiculed for our appearance. People even questioned why Asians talked in English.”
The agony of being the object of hate and abuse for such a cause is beyond words,” the band continued. “Our personal experiences are insignificant in comparison to the events of the last few weeks. These incidents, however, were sufficient to make us feel helpless and erode our self-esteem. What is going on right now is a threat to our Asian identity. We needed a lot of time to think about this, and we spent a lot of time thinking about how we could deliver our message. Our voice, on the other hand, must convey a simple message. We are against racial discrimination. People must abhor aggression. We must not remember ourselves and not forget each other. We are going to stand together.”
BTS Becomes The First Korean Artist To Win A Nomination In BRIT Awards 2021

But they have only recently been nominated for an award.
The Korean band earned their first Grammy nomination for “Dynamite” in November, but Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s powerhouse duet “Rain on Me” took home the award for best pop duo/group performance at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards on March 14.
The band was in the nominations list for the 63rd Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. They gave an incredible performance on their song “Dynamite.” The Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards have honored them.
The band also released two Korean albums in 2020, “Map Of The Soul: 7” and “BE (Deluxe Edition),”. They also released several solo projects and the Japanese album “Map Of The Soul: 7 – The Journey.” Following a record-breaking 2020, BTS worked tirelessly. They remain linked to their fans and the rest of the world amid the challenges due to COVID-19. The septet began 2021 with even more incredible achievements. BTS was dubbed “The Greatest Pop Star of 2020” by Billboard after tapping three IFPI charts and the Global Artist Chart.
