Demi Lovato changed her pronouns to they/them after ‘self-reflection, the singer informed her fans. With this endeavor, Demi raised everyone to their feet and motivated many to look inside themselves and realize their truth.
Non-binary people are not identified as either male or female and do not tend to conform to norms related to any of the genders.
On Twitter, Demi wrote: “Every day we wake up, we are given another opportunity & chance to be who we want & wish to be. I’ve spent the majority of my life growing in front of all of you… you’ve seen the good, the bad, & everything in between.
“I’ve spent the majority of my life growing in front of all of you you’ve seen the good, the bad, & everything in between,” our singer wrote on Twitter.
Demi said they finally understood their gender after having time to engage in “healing and self-reflective work.”
“I’m still learning & coming into myself, & I don’t claim to be an expert or a spokesperson. Sharing this with you now opens another level of vulnerability for me.” Sorry (Not Sorry) singer added that they would be exploring identity in upcoming episodes of their newly announced podcast “4D.”
“I’m doing this for those out there that haven’t been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones. Please keep living in your truths & know I am sending so much love your way.”
Standing Up For The LGBTQI+ Community
Many fans said they were proud of Demi and that our pop singer became their role model. Lovato r has always supported LGBT rights and sided with those who are different and who are rejected by society.
This way Demi may have helped many who are struggling with themselves, who have not yet found themselves or are lost on the way to their soul.
